ESL Pro League Season 12

esports at its purest - returns on September 2, 2020

After a record-breaking season in March, ESL Pro League is looking to return on September 2nd for its 12th season. The world's 24 best teams will fight for the Pro League Championship in another 4-week long season this fall!

Special Qualifier

As announced earlier this year, the teams that have been moved from ESL Pro League to Mountain Dew League as part of developing Pro League into a more exciting and competitive format will get their chance to re-qualify into Season 12 through a special qualifier. They will be joined by all non-partner teams from Season 11 to give everyone a chance to earn their slot back.

The European, Asian and Oceanian qualifiers will be played as BO3 double-elimination brackets only the finals are BO5. The South American qualifier only consists of one BO5 series, given it only has two teams. In North America, the three teams will play a round-robin format to keep the chances more equal. The qualifiers consist of:

{{ match.playdate * 1000 | date:'fullDate' }}
{{ match.playdate * 1000 | date:'shortTime' }}
{{match.result_team1}} : {{match.result_team2}}
